God has concluded that humans are stupid creatures. I use the word God with tongue-in-cheek. God, nature, and the universe have endowed humans with a reflective consciousness. It means we can look at empirical and psychological reality and reach conclusions about the best way to live and not be exclusively driven by survival and procreation drives. But despite this wonderful gift, almost no one looks objectively at life; instead, people fill their heads with all manner of fairy tales and comforting notions.
