We start life as a tiny lump of goo stuck to the side of our mother’s womb. We are easily squished at this stage, and particularly if we are aborted. As time progresses, we grow and assume various hideous forms until we emerge from the womb looking part human and part grub. For the next several months we indulge in grub-like activities, feeding and shitting mainly. We are very vulnerable and easily squished if not cared for.
